Domaine Marchand-Grillot

Gevrey-Chambertin

Like the vines, the Marchand and Grillot families are both well-rooted in the Burgundian soil. History for the Marchand’s in Morey-St-Denis and the Grillot’s in Gevrey Chambertin date back 6 generations. United through marriage in 1950, Domaine Marchand-Grillot was created. With a winery in Gevrey Chambertin, the Domaine is currently led by Jacques Marchand with his son, Etienne and daughter, Marion. Their holdings cover 9ha with a sustainable approach to farming. Having the aim to preserve the health of the soil, chemicals have been avoided for over 20 years and regular ploughing is done to limit weeds and reduce erosion. Grapes are generally destemmed and oak aging ranges from 12-18 months. Extensive knowledge passed down through generations, craft pure and extraordinary wines of quality from Domaine Marchand-Grillot
