Omachi rice that is locally grown in Tochigi, without the use of any chemicals or pesticides. Crafted in the kimoto method. The Senkin Retro is a return to the past, a feeling of nostalgia and appreciation of the good old days. This is reminiscent of Senkin 20 years ago with its sweet & sour, soft & smooth flavour. Differing from the “Modern” & “Classic” series of sakes, this is the first bottling in the newly created “Retro” series in the Senkin lineup after the brewery refocused its direction in 2024.

Tasting Note: Slightly effervescent on opening, expect notes of tropical fruits that extend to the palate with some delicate sweetness packaged with fresh acidity, ending with a clean finish with hints of citrus peel.
