Yume Ikkon and Yamadanishiki rice milled down to 45%, sourced locally from contract growers in Fukuoka. Beautiful ginjo aromatics of Asian pear, Fuji apple, melon, anise on the nose, elegantly textured and round on the palate, great depth in flavour, and a soft drying finish.

One of the top cuvées from Yamaguchi Brewery, the Kuro-ugu (shortened in Japanese to mean Black Nightingale), is crafted in a smaller tank to be able to manage fermentations and temperature changes in more detail. A product showcasing the craftsmanship of the team at Yamaguchi Brewery with the quality of sake rice locally grown.
