Ribeauville

Riesling (65%) with Sylvaner and Pinot Blanc complimenting the blend. A ‘village’ wine with grapes from the vineyards Gruenspiel, Hagueneau, Weinbaum, which surround the town of Ribeauville. Vines grow on diverse soils of Muschelkalk limestone, clay, sandstone, and gravel. Fermentation with indigenous yeast and matured in large old barrels for a minimum of 12 months.

Tasting Note: Aromas of apricot, ripe apple, candied lemon, orange with white flower, honey, fresh herb, spice on the nose. Medium-bodied with beautiful richness and texture on the palate, a ripe yellow fruit core, fresh acidity, great balance, long length on a floral & mineral finish. Technically dry but maybe a hint of residual.
