Sancerre Blanc Les Denisottes

Fruit from the lieux-dit of Les Denisottes, totalling 1.1ha. Vines age between 40 and 53 years, growing on deep, pebbly Kimmeridgian soils. Vines range in age from 40 to 53 years. Vinified and aged on lees in demi-muid for 10-14 months. More of a richer style of Sancerre requiring longer élevage in barrel and with greater capacity to age.

Tasting Note: Aromas of lime, white peach, green apple, and pear with hints of lychee, nettle, crushed stone, and sea salt on the nose. Pure, savoury, and rich on the palate, a stony mineral and citrus/orchard fruit core, bright acidity, great intensity and depth, rounded texture, and salty on a lengthy finish.
