Elaboraciones Ancestrales Blanco

Ungrafted Gual (aka Bual) from 2 vineyards: San Juan Degollado (in Garachico) & Mazapé (in San Juan de la Rambla) both in areas northwest of Tenerife, 150-160m above sea level. Soils are volcanic with good drainage and rich in minerals. Hand harvest, indigenous yeast fermentation and further maceration on skins for 3 weeks in concrete eggs. A white/orange wine.

Tasting Note: Aromas of ripe peach, apricot, pear, lemon pith & zest with hints of rosemary, white flower, ginger on the nose. Textured, rich, and very complex on the palate, savoury with juicy fruit and herbal nuances, fresh acidity, medium body, fine polished tannin, great length on the salty finish.
