Listán Negro

Listán Negro from ungrafted vines growing on volcanic soils, 300-700 above sea, northwest of Tenerife. Hand-harvested and fermented in stainless tank with indigenous yeast with aging in neutral 225L French oak for 3 months.

Tasting Note: Aromas of blackberry, cherry, pomegranate, fig with hints of smoke, black pepper, violets, earth on the nose. Medium weight and juicy on the palate with red/blackberry fruit and spice notes, fresh acid, fine powdery tannin, good length on the slightly herbal finish.
