Los Pasitos

Ungrafted Baboso Negro (aka Alfrocheiro Preto) from a tiny 0.25ha parcel in the Los Pasitos vineyard. Soils are clayey over volcanic rock and vines average 15 years of age. Hand-harvested, whole cluster fermentation in large open-top bins with indigenous yeast and aging in 500L oak barrels for 10 months.
