Blaufränkisch Ungerberg

Blaufränkish from the south/south-west facing Ungerberg vineyard, where the soils are loamy sand over a lime and iron base. Vines average 31 years of age. Grapes are hand harvested, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and matured for 15 months in barrique (15% new).
