Uguisu Tomari
庭の鶯 特撰梅酒 うぐいすとまり
An umeshu made from hand-selected plums infused with a kasutori shochu for 10 months before bottling and release. The kasutori shochu is a distilled product using the sake lees from sake production at the brewery
Wonderful aromas of the plums on the nose with bright acidity on the palate, silky and finessed with a lengthy finish. A refined plum sake that can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, with a splash of water (hot or cold) or with some soda. Versatile and is often paired with desserts, charcuterie & cheese, fois gras, and also enjoyed during a meal.
