Osuzuyama Distillery in Miyazaki, the sister company to Kuroki Honten, known for their farm-to-bottle shochu, has released a Whisky with all local ingredients. Kuroki Honten grows their own barley, and also malts it themselves. Aged for 18 months in chestnut head and American oak.
