Maranges Sur Le Chêne

Fruit from a total of 2.16ha of limestone & gravel soils within Sur le Chêne. Average vine age of 60 years. Only the best fruit of the vintage is used for this cuvée. Whole cluster use will vary per vintage, aged in oak for 15-18 months with some new oak depending on vintage (not more than 30%).

Tasting Note: 2019 - Aromas of redcurrant, cherry, blackberry, with hints of mocha and cacao on the nose. Bright and textured on the palate with a fresh red and black berry fruit core, good acidity, fine smooth tannin, and saline on the finish.
