Rüdesheim Berg Schlossberg Riesling GG

Riesling from 2 parcels in the Grosses Lage (grand cru) of Berg Sclossberg in western Rheingau. Vines grow on steep terroir (65% slope) with generally good sun exposure and soils of quartzite and slate that have good drainage. Vines average 50+ years. Hand-harvested, vinified separately with long maturation on lees, bottling in July/August.

Tasting Note: Aromas of lime, grapefruit, apricot with hints of honey, petrol, citrus peel on the nose. Full, rich, and a silky texture on the palate, ripe citrus core with stone mineral, vibrant acidity, good tension, long finish. Dry.
